The J.T. Deely Power Plant is located on Calaveras Lake where coal is used as a fuel source to produce 465 megawatts of electricity. CPS Energy is in the process of upgrading the Finishing Superheat and Economizer Sections of the boiler.  The unit utilizes a Siemens\Westinghouse  Turbine\Generator and an Alstom boiler.  Mr. Cary will discuss the reliability program for Fossil Generation.

The presenter is Mr. Brian Cary, Reliability Manager for Fossil Generation.  He has worked at CPS Energy since 2004.  He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UTSA, an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Texas in Austin, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
